How do I set a CarPlay startup sound?
Open Carpio, browse or search for a sound, tap to preview it, then tap 'Set as Startup Sound'. The sound will play every time your iPhone connects to CarPlay.
The sound isn't playing when I connect to CarPlay
Make sure Carpio is installed and you've selected a sound. Check that your iPhone's volume is up and CarPlay permissions are enabled in Settings > General > CarPlay.
Can I use my own audio files?
Yes! Tap 'Create Custom Sound' in the app. You can import audio from videos, record with your mic, or generate speech using AI text-to-speech.
What's the difference between free and premium sounds?
Free sounds are available to all users. Premium sounds (marked with PRO) require a subscription. All sounds can be previewed for free.
Which cars are compatible?
Carpio works with any vehicle that supports Apple CarPlay. This includes most cars manufactured after 2016 from brands like BMW, Mercedes, Toyota, Honda, and more.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to iPhone Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > Carpio > Cancel Subscription. Your access will continue until the end of the billing period.
